Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist inpatient and community mental health, learning disabilities, addiction and acquired brain injury services for the people of Liverpool, Sefton and Kirkby, Merseyside. We also provide community physical health services in Liverpool, Sefton, secure mental health services for the North West of England, the West Midlands and Wales and specialist learning disability services across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside.

An exciting and innovative opportunity has arisen for Band 4 Alcohol Worker to provide specialist alcohol support and advice for service users in the community who are using alcohol in a high risk manner.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience of working within specialist alcohol services who can demonstrate Trust values and promote the physical health and well being of service users through recovery.

Respect - going out of your way to make to make a difference to others.

Enthusiasm - working with a smile and a ‘can do’ attitude.

In addition you should be an excellent communicator and flexible in your approach to work, have an open attitude to change and want to make a real difference. You must be able to work at various locations across Liverpool and would be expected to travel from LCAS base to clinic venues.
