Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist inpatient and community mental health, learning disabilities, addiction services and acquired brain injury services for the people of Liverpool, Sefton and Kirkby, Merseyside. We also provide community physical health services in Liverpool and Sefton, secure mental health services for the North West of England, the West Midlands and Wales and specialist learning disability services across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside. Assistant Facilities Site Manager
2 vacancies 1 Permanent and 1 Fixed Term 12 months
An exciting opportunity to join the Facilities Management Team responsible for Mossley Hill Hospital and five other smaller sites in the area.
The Assistant Facilities Site Managers will have the responsibility for first line management of a large team of Facilities Management Assistants (FMAs) providing a comprehensive Soft FM service across the six sites including catering, cleaning, portering , site management and laundry Services. Candidates should have Facilities experience in a supervisory role, hold the IOSH Managing Safety qualification and will ideally have CIEH Level 3 food safety qualification. The successful candidate will also have excellent IT and interpersonal skills and will be able to travel between the six sites in a timely manner. Previous NHS Experience is desirable but not essential.
37.5 hours per week/5 x 7.5 hour days. The successful applicant will be expected to work some weekend and Bank Holiday days for which pay enhancements apply.
